ever.green series is the eco-minded collection of limited edtion T-shirts for men and women, produced by EDUN LIVE, a brand belonging to EDUN Apparel, the ground-breaking, ethical fashion label founded by Ali Hewson and her husband Bono in 2005.
The collection of T-shirts in 100% organic cotton are available exclusively on yoox.com, and all proceeds from the sales will be donated to Green Cross International, the environmental NGO founded by president Mikhail Gorbachev and partner of the YOOXYGEN project.
ever.green series involves international figures, who transform into designers for this occasion.
ever.green series # 1 by Angela Lindvall
The first collection of limited edition T-shirts for him and her was created by an exceptional guest designer: the American supermodel Angela Lindvall, who has been active in environmental issues for years. Her designs for the T-shirts produced by EDUN LIVE were inspired by her vision of nature: "My shirt was created from the shadows of trees. Our shadow side is what sometimes pushes us to grow” explains Angela Lindvall.
ever.green series # 2 by Summer Rayne Oakes
The second collection of his & her T-shirts was designed by Summer Rayne Oakes, considered to be the first internationally-renowned “Eco Model”. The T-shirts produced by EDUN LIVE feature a design of two beetles engaged in combat. "I'm an entomologist and raise exotic insects in my Williamsburg apartment, so naturally I'd love to do something that marries Brooklyn hipster vibe with entophilia".
ever.green series # 3 by Elettra Wiedemann
The third collection of T-shirts for him and for her was created by Elettra Wiedemann, the new face of the fashion system. The design of the T-shirt produced by EDUN LIVE represents Elettra's love of the environment and of animals, that began during a trip to Africa. "It was an unforgettable experience and one that ties me to Uganda. This is the reason why I have created this T-shirt”.
