September 2007 - In celebration of his role in Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited, Waris, jewelry designer and actor, unveiled a limited edition Elephant Pin. The pin was sold exclusively on yoox.com, and the proceeds were donated to the Elephant Family, a non-profit organization protecting Asian elephants from extinction (www.elephantfamily.org). The pin was handmade in India, where The Darjeeling Limited was shot, and is a part of Waris's costume throughout the film.
