September 2006 - Joined by a passion for everything unique, exceptional and paradoxical, yoox.com and Olivier Saillard worked together on a project combining literature and fashion. Saillard created a poetic collection, "Robe seule du soir", exclusively for yoox.com, which was presented in Paris during Haute Couture Week.
yoox.com became a virtual theater for the occasion, providing the perfect stage for Saillard's creations. What other place could be better suited to a man who designs such an atypical collection. Praised by the press as "a great moment for Haute Couture", Saillard's clothing and accessories were printed with poems, as if he used a pen instead of needle and thread to stitch his creations together. An innovative experiment in which the body wears the art of words – poetry.
