November 2004 - Acclaimed indie filmmaker and accomplished photographer, Larry Clark exudes cool, confident and wise style. Best known as the Director for the controversial film Kids, Larry's photographic work of the suburban youth culture of Oklahoma in the 1960's garnered him critical success when a book of the work was published in 1971, titled Tulsa. Tulsa went on to inspire the filmmakers Martin Scorsese (Taxi Driver), Francis Ford Coppola (Rumble Fish) and Gus Van Sant (Drugstore Cowboy). Clark produced two more books - Teenage Lust (1982) and Perfect Childhood (1992), both continuing the theme of documenting the youth culture of that time period. Currently, Clark is in post-production for the film Wassup Rockers, and traveling Europe to promote his latest film, Ken Park.
